The exciting new shapes of showers – round, spiral and pentagonal are the logical net stage in development and offer stunning new possibilities for bathroom design. The range of partitioning systems can be also shaped to the various designs and specifications.
Using BA Construct, it is easy to create curved surfaces suitable for tiling.
BA Construct comes in two formats: one with the cuts across the width of the board and the second with the cuts along the length

SPIRAL SHOWERS as well as in domestic wet rooms are very popular in spas, health centers and leisure centers.
The Fundo Spiral has nine parts –the wall in shower base incorporating the drain unit, and the eights part curved partition. The base unit has a groove on its outer edge into which the wall units are slotted. The wall sections themselves are each tongue and groove jointed, and are joined with self-adhesive reinforcement tape. The base is available as left or right hand entrance.
The threshold between the base unit and the adjacent floor at the entrance is sealed
With wedi waterproof tape fixed in a cement based tile adhesive.
The unit can then be tiled with a maximum format 5 x 5cm ceramic or stone tiles.

WETROOM TRAYS
The Wet Room Tray is underlay sloping floor that defines the "wet area" and allows water to run into the special drain
Trays are available in squares or rectangles with offset drain holes to allow the location of the waste pipe between floor joists. They can be rotated to suit the location, and trimmed by 60 - 70 mm off each edge, or even notched to fit around obstructions (e.g., boxed-in soil pipe). They are easy to fit into a concrete of timber floor.

There are lots of sizes available to fit any size of a room:
800mm x 800mm; 900mm x 900mm; 1000mm x 100mm; 1500mm x 1500mm
1850mm x 900mm; 1500mm x 800mm; 1200mm x800mm; 1200nn x 900mm;
They can be rotated to suit the location, and trimmed by 60 - 70 mm off each edge, or even notched to fit around obstructions (e.g., boxed-in soil pipe). They are easy to fit into a concrete of timber floor.
The wet room kit includes a hidden shower tray with built in falls and waterproof tanking boards which is to be secured using a good quality flexible tile adhesive to the rest of the bathroom. While shower tray and tanking boards are leveled and fixed to the floor, the next stage is for all the joints between the individual tanking boards, walls and hidden tray to be made watertight using the supplied industrial high grab tanking sealing tape. Now the wetroom floor is completely tanked ready for tiling.
Under floor heating can be used with wet room kits and can be an excellent addition to your wet room. Wet room floor heating allows tiles to be heated to a temperature that is comfortable to walk on, and also radiates heat to the room above, raising the air temperature, and allowing wet surfaces to dry more quickly.Under floor heating is luxury and it is wonderful to walk on the warm floor but as most wet rooms will be installed with a heated radiator or towel rail there is no requirement for the underfloor heating to be the primary source of heat in the room, rather you will only require comfort heating where you walk.
If you already have the wet room but your floor is damaged or not properly sealed anymore, we can undertake the renovation only the floor for you.

Wet room can be an efficient use of limited space in a small, existing bathroom, or in a box room, for example, which can be converted to ensuite bathroom. Ensuite bathroom will definitely make your life easier and the same will add value to your property. Wall mounted sinks, and toilets, can be accommodated without compromising the available space. In a wet room the whole of the room effectively becomes a shower what means there is no need for shower tray. That fact gives the room very modern and neat look, and make it easier to maintain.
Even very tiny room, as small as 800 x 800mm can be big enough for the Wet Room! The main consideration is to check that there is sufficient drainage. You should also check that there are no re-inforced steel joists in the way. The Wet Room shower trays come in a large variety of sizes with centre and off centre drains to facilitate drain placement. Wet Rooms should always be fitted by specialists to avoid problems and leaks in the future. Wet room kits are designed to be fitted over timber or concrete floors.
Both types of the sub floor will need waterproofing. If you have a timber floor you need to ensure that the floor is well fixed and rigid. Screw loose floorboards (ensuring you miss any water pipes below). The essential part of a wet room construction is to ensure that the floors and shower area are fully watertight, boards and surfaces are fixed firmly and able to take the weight of the tiles you intend to use.

The rainfall shower
“A rainfall shower gives a softer and more relaxing shower sensation by delivering water at lower pressure or in finer droplets, whilst maintaining a high flow rate- good for relaxing you at the end of a hard day. Some modern showers (including Rainfall showers) can consume large volumes of water and energy to heat it up, which is not very eco- friendly”
“The term ‘rainfall’ shower generally relates to a larger showerhead that delivers a generous pouring like the old- fashioned ‘watering- can’ or ‘rose’ showerheads.
Hansgrohe has a large family of showers called Raindance that range from 10cm diameter hand showers up to 60cm diameter overhead showers. The ‘rain’ connection here also relates to the generously wide spray pattern on all the showers but more importantly to the patented air- injection that gives a natural feel to the spray”
C.P.Hart
“Rainfall showers offer the user a more natural and organic way of relaxing and washing, creating a feeling of being at one with nature. The bathroom as a whole is becoming more spa- like and so features like ‘rainfallshowers’ are becoming increasingly popular as people are looking to relax and rejuvenate in the comfort of their own home. Rainfall and power showers have different applications, and often, if people have more than one bathroom, both shower types will be present in the home. The rainfall style showers would often be in the pampering, spa- inspired room, while the power shower would fit better in the room the whole family uses.”
Grohe
“Today’s more sophisticated consumer has a higher expectation and wants the best showering experience, and this includes lots of different options. The rainfall shower is certainly gaining in popularity and also fits in with current lifestyle trends, which are influencing the design of modern bathrooms”, says Jan- Peter Tewes, managing director at Grohe. “Those looking for a more gentle and luxurious experience are likely to choose a rainfall shower; this helps to recreate the sensation of a gentle tropical shower with hundreds of tiny water drops, which soothe the skin for a showering experience that is relaxing and refreshing.”
“The type of shower depends on what the consumer is looking for – space is one factor and the existing plumbing system will also have an effect on what is the best option. Those looking for an invigorating showering experience to relieve stress, tend to choose the jet option. Showers with a jet pattern are perfect for people wanting to easy away muscle tension”

JACOBSEN DESIGNED VOLA
A cylinder, the basis on which Jacobsen designed Vola, is used once again as the starting point for Vola's long awaited high performance ceiling and wall mounted shower heads.
Capable of delivering up to 25 litres per minute, the new showerhead is a much-needed addition to the Vola shower concept fulfilling a strong wish by Vola users for a high-flow cascade style head.
AQVAPLANA is the world's most unique shower panel.
All-Italian design and technology for the shower like you would never have …imagined.
The AQVAPLANA shower panel, completely designed in solid marine Okumè type wood, takes a departure from the mainstream world of sanitary fixtures, which doesn't contemplate the use of wood in direct contact with water for an extended time. The perceptive intuition of creating a shower panel which makes use of wood, normally employed in the building of boats and further protecting it with special marine type varnishes, actually brings the natural warmth and beauty of wood directly into your shower environment, without any problems related to mildew or deterioration.
Available in 6 wood colour variations (Zebrano, Ebony, Wenghe', Teak, Oak and Paduk), AQVAPLANA is the world's most unique shower panel, featuring an ultra-thin frame (5.5 cm at the base and 3.5 cm at the height of the shower head), that is entirely concealed (no connection between the faucet and shower head is visible externally). Yet another special feature of this innovative shower fixture is the possibility of installing it to the floor with a steel upright frame.
